This little ramp helped a lot. Have been taking her wheelchair out and having to let it drop down and then bring front down. And going back in was very difficult. This solved both going out and coming in issues. Nice and sturdy but lightweight enough to take in and out when not needed. Thanks so much. I may order another, longer, for another area.
This ramp is exactly what we needed for our van. Now, we can visit friends and family at their homes. The ramp is lightweight and compact, yet sturdy enough to support a large individual in a heavy power wheelchair. It did rattle a bit, but placing a towel between the layers before storing it in the van solved the issue.
I had plans to build a ramp because it's getting harder and harder to get my wife's wheelchair up/down the 5" step at the front door. This ramp is a MUCH better solution. I can use it to get the chair out of the house, put it the back of the van in case I need it at our destination, and then use it again to get the chair back into the house. It folds easily and stores behind the front door when not in use. Much better than a permanent wooden ramp at the door.
